HIGH-PRESSURE WASHDOWN PUMP IS RELIABLE AND AFFORDABLE

One of the key reasons buyers stay faithful to a particular brand of product is because it does what the manufacturer advertises.  Another is that the purchase doesn't break the bank.  In recent testing, Aqua Jet WD3.4 GPM and WD5.0 GPM washdown pumps from Johnson Pump did what the company said they would. Among the qualities boaters look for are a pump's ability to meet its designated flow rate, its power usage, pressure rating, reliability and price.  In competitive tests, the Aqua Jets tested at or near the highest levels. In the open-flow test, both Johnson models used about half the power of more expensive units.  The 3.4 exceeded its rating with a measurement of over 3-1/2 GPM at just 3.3 amps, while the 5.0's flow rate was just under 5 GPM at 6.4 amps.  In pressure testing, both met expectations. Adding to these benefits are the pumps' durable, metal motor housings and built-in thermal protection.  The casings in front of the motors contain factory-preset pressure switches.  Both pumps are available in either 12 or 24 VDC models. Several brands of pumps can cost anywhere from $200 to over $1000. At retail prices of $140 and $163 respectively, The Aqua Jet WD3.4 and WD5.0
are dollar-for-dollar among the best on the market. Johnson Pump is an international engineering group that develops,
