NEW SHAFT ANODE GIVES SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE

Redesigned from the inside out, the new Martyr CMX-5 streamlined shaft anode from Canada Metal (Pacific) Ltd. boasts sleek styling and outstanding corrosion protection.

New for 2002, the anode features a circular inside diameter that ensures a tight fit around the entire shaft. The new design also eliminates the need to hammer the anode in place during mounting. Both halves of the anode interlock, reducing the chance of an off-center installation. Fasteners line up quickly to minimize time during placement.

To lengthen anode life, additional zinc metal has been cast around the fasteners. This affords better protection and lowers replacement costs. All Martyr shaft and rudder anodes come with combination fasteners that allow the use of an allen head wrench or screwdriver when attaching to the shaft.

The anode fits 1-1/4"-diameter shafts and weighs 1.2 pounds. It is 2-3/8" in diameter and 2-3/8" long. Canada Metal is currently working on updating all CMX streamlined shaft anodes to embrace this design.

Suggested retail price of the Martyr CMX-5 shaft anode is USD$10.50.
