Outstanding example of this Defever classic with many custom updates and constant, meticulous care from a very knowledgeable owner, "Blue Heron" sets the standard for long range trawlers of this type.  She features new teak decks, installed in 2003 by Teak Decking Systems of Sarasota, FL ($40,000),  new electronics 2005, stainless steel 1/2 tower top with StrataGlass enclosure, ($20,000.), etc. The single Ford Lehman has only 360 hours SMOH. A new bottom paint job, (no blisters), was just completed 2007. The exterior teak has a Semco finish and is in beautiful condition.  If you have been considering a trawler of this era, don't let this one get away. Owner has reluctantly put "Blue Heron" up for sale as he is moving out of boating.
