PEERLESS PORTS PROTECT IN ALL CONDITIONS

Few port windows can claim to be watertight, provide varying, measured degrees of ventilation, ease-of-use and distinctive looks. But New Found Metals' Tri-Matrix, caulkless, self-sealing ports are that and more.

Made of 316/316L stainless steel and ABS weather - resistant copolymers, the port is light weight and strong. Stainless steel bands accent the interior and exterior rings while anchoring two cam dogs and a double hinge and the main frame’s polymer has UV inhibitors which resist fading from the sun.

Tri-Matrix ports are a good alternative for the boater who dreads going to battle with a messy caulking gun to replace old, unattractive port windows.  The ports' bolt-through construction is engineered for a permanent dry-fitting as the plates compress a ring of closed-cell, silicon foam to half its thickness.

The compressed foam seals the outside edges of the port from the elements.  On the inside, fully adjustable upper hinges and rapid-release dogs compensate for any compression of the glass frame’s flexible, long-life gasket.

As with most NFM portlights, the Tri-Matrix has auto-release torsion springs on the upper hinges of the port's frame as standard equipment. When the window latches are released, the port automatically opens to a 45-degree angle—and stays there.

The Tri-Matrix port can be adjusted further by hand to nearly any desired opening.  If only a slight vent is required, such as during a storm, one or both of the cam dogs can be set to secure the window from opening automatically.

The combination of stainless steel and copolymer materials produces a less-costly, attractive port with the strength of steel, at a fraction of the weight.

Prices for the Trimatrix line start at $89.95.
